10 years ago

The day is August 2nd, 2008.

10 years ago we said YES,
10 years ago we didn’t know, but we hoped.
We trusted, we loved.
10 years ago we said forever.

10 years ago was just us, and the world was ours!
10 years later and you’re still the world.

10 years of battles, of laughter, of fights, of dreams, of coffee. Of God keeping us on track.

8 years of babies 🙂

Many years of tiredness, many years of almost given up. But still here, still trusting, still wouldn’t trade for anything else.
Immigration, births, houses, studying, and a few extra pounds I could live without 🙂 Regrets, tears, talks, disappointments, companionship, excitement, care, passion, determination, but above all,
Love.

These 10 years I’ve grown an older man, now 34. But as I grow older, I grow prouder. Proud of that YES I said, when I was 24, 10 years ago.

Thanks for these last 10 years Bru. Only you and I know how tough, yet rewarding they have been.

I love you so much. I wish the tiring days and lack of proper rest and sleep could make things easier for me to say it every day lately, in words and gestures. But I know you’ve got an window into my heart, and you can see me 🙂
